This magnificant caracal stayed long enough to give us a bold stare!
AFRICAN CIVET (Civettictis civetta) an extremely rare and interesting sighting captured on a rhino-watch security camera. Has this solitary nocturnal animal ever been seen in this area before? We are unable to find anyone to verify this. Its usual range is far to the north of SIBUYA. Let's hope this one stays!
BARN OWLS (Tyto alba) - spotted by Welcome, Ella, and Nick. Nesting in a hole with a view... high up in the Kariega River bank between Forest and River Camp... they have a lovely vantage point from which to watch life going by on the river below.
